After the well-documented and viral rise of Francesco Camarda, another striker in AC Milan’s youth sector is beginning to turn a lot of heads.

According to the Instagram page Il Bello del Calcio – which highlights the latest upcoming talents in Italy – the name of Andrea Kostyuk is one to remember and his numbers with the youth teams show exactly why.

First of all we must start with the fact that he plays with the U12 team and is Italian-Ukrainian, which needless to say makes his idol the AC Milan legend Andriy Shevchenko.

During this current season, the page says that he has scored 238 in 41 games, which means an average of 5.8 goals per game. It must be said that the overall number of goals scored in games at this level is much higher, but 238 goals is a staggering amount.

The videos they post show a 12-year-old capable of finishing in any way and able to set up his own goals. His growth is continuous too: in three years he has scored around 800 times, with over 230 assists too.

The page adds: “Finishing, technique, physique, control, positioning, heading. Nothing is missing. And above all, he is devastating with both feet. Right-footed, left-footed and teamwork, a rare commodity for a 12-year-old striker.

“Bomber instinct. A new Kiev Nightingale could fly over San Siro in the future, dreaming of following in Sheva’s footsteps.”

In short, the photo of him published with Shevchenko is a clear signal: Andrea would very much like to imitate him and, in a small way compared to those of the same age, he is already succeeding.
