On Sunday evening, the Baltimore Ravens announced they added a local talent to their roster at wide receiver for the upcoming season. The Ravens are bringing their roster to 90 players for the offseason workout period.
The Ravens needed to add help at pass catcher for quarterback Lamar Jackson after veteran wide receive Odell Beckham Jr. left for free agency this offseason. They added a player on Sunday who can help in multiple positions.
According to a statement by the Ravens, the team signed Baltimore, Maryland native Deonte Harty.

Harty earned All-Pro honors and a Pro Bowl nomination for the 2019 season when he led the league in punt returns and punt return yards.
Harty has caught 79 passes for 943 yards and five touchdowns in his five-year NFL career. He’s returned 179 punts for 2,989 yards (16.7 YPR) and two touchdowns. He returned the longest punt of his career (96 yards) for a touchdown to help the Bills clinch the AFC East title and defeat the Miami Dolphins in Week 18.
